Vision 1335
Every Sunday Morning at 10:00 am in the High School Room
Every Friday Night at 7:00 pm at the Haskills’ home in Scotts Valley
On Sunday mornings, students begin by joining the body in the Sanctuary for corporate worship, and are then dismissed for their separate time of Bible study.
On Friday evenings, the youth meet in a home for their own intimate time of worship, fellowship, and Bible study.
As Jesus states so simply to His followers in the book of John, “By this all will know you are my disciples, if you have love one for another.” John 13:35 This, simply, is Vision 1335.
The heart behind the ministry is to encourage high school age students to read, understand, and discuss the deep things of God, believing that these opportunities to know God and His Word will draw them not only closer to the Lord, but to each other.
If we love God we need to love each other. 1 John 4:20 says that “If someone says ‘I Love God,’ and hates his brother, he is a liar; for he who does not love his brother whom he has seen, How can he love God whom he has not seen?” The scripture is so clear about the Love that God has towards us (John 3:16), and the love He wants us to have for one another.
The “ Vision” is simple – Love one another as Christ has loved us. This love is the love that drives us to be long suffering, kind, not envious, not boastful, not puffed up, not one who behaves rudely, not selfish, not provoked, one who thinks no evil, does not rejoice in iniquity, but rejoices in the truth…..
In a world that is full of hate & false love, we as Christians can reach out with the love that God has poured into us.
We invite you to join us as we grow together in the love of Jesus. If you have any questions, please contact Pastor Vince, our youth pastor.
