“A School of Ministry has the potential to radically impact the individual local church, as well as the larger community of churches in a particular region. For that reason I am so excited to hear about the plan to start a School of Ministry in the Northern California area. I’m sure the Lord is leading in this endeavor and I look forward to the fruit that will come as men and women are strengthened in their faith and better equipped to serve the Lord.”
- Pastor Brian Brodersen, Calvary Chapel Costa Mesa
There are as many variations in Schools of Ministry as there are Schools of Ministry themselves. Each school has it’s own special emphasis and flavor reflecting the heart and style of ministry of the local church which hosts it. At Calvary Chapel Santa Cruz, we are excited about the unique SoM program that the Lord has developed, and believe it to be one which will help to equip not only those who are responding to God’s call to a life of “full-time” ministry service, but also will equip those in the body who simply want to be used more fully of the Lord in the ministry to which He has called all of us as believers. . . “the ministry of reconciliation” about which Paul speaks to the Corinthians (2 Corinthians 5:18).
We hope that you will take a moment and look through the information included in the links below. We hope, as well, that you will prayerfully consider joining us for “the equipping of the saints for the work of ministry” (Ephesians 4:12).
